 My trip to Istanbul

  December 2019, It was the first time I travel Istanbul,after I heard a lot about this city. I really enjoyed the place ,but the cold weather , the low temperature,and the absence of the sun prevented me from doing a lot of activities ,specially that I hate winter season. The food there is delicious, the knefe at "moustafa Hafez "was really yummy . You will really like to drink a cup of tea in the streets of Taksim while it`s raining ,but for sure the food there is not better than the lebanese food. I really liked shopping there and hanging all day from shop to another,since we went to the "Bazar" and to the mall, see the difference ? I went also to the "Sultan Ahmad mosque" and to "Aya Sophia" ,while you are skimming every single detail,you feel you are in a historical series waiting your prince to come.For sure I would like to go there again but I wont go in winter season.

Benifits of Reading

As an ENGLISH teacher  I would like to tell you about the benefits of reading: 

Benefits of reading:

·        Improves vocab:  To begin with, all successful writers will tell you that in order to write well, you need to read. Consequently, Reading increases your vocabulary more than talking or direct teaching. Reading forces us to look at words that we might not have seen or hear .By reading you are introduced to more words and context you will be able to understand other words with similar root words or develop an understanding …reading is the only way to increase your vocabulary it`s best than just learning list of words is and waste of time as opposed to .Reading as the words will not only be learned but you will understand how to determine other words by comparisons of the words you know.

 ·         Develops creativity and imagination: reading is so beneficial since it improves our thinking process and develops our creativity and imagination. Reading books require readers to think and imagine about different details in the book such as characters and plot; this provides us to improve our thinking process. It also obliges readers to focus on what they are reading for long periods; for example you can travel anywhere in a book and you can meet and engage with the author and their fantasy worlds.

Moreover Fiction books will allow you to use your imagination to paint your own version of the images, characters, and places .Every book can give a different representation of the characters and the location to each reader because everybody's imagination will perceive things differently. In fact, reading has such a powerful influence it can change your emotional state, sad stories can make you feel sad, stories of inspiration motivate and inspire you while happy stories can improve our mood. The readers must concentrate in order to read, they will improve their concentration, thinking abilities, and plunge them into their brains.

 

·         Increases your knowledge: first of all, Reading has at all times and in all ages been a great source of knowledge. Reading quality books feed your mind with quality information and ideas.  Self-education allows you to create a real fortune.  Reading exposes you to a variety of ideas that can help change your life forever.  Reading helps you to become wise. The more knowledge you have, the better-equipped you are to tackle any challenge you’ll ever face. Also you`ll know things about different cultures , environments … 

 

                          

Online teaching

The concept of traditional education has changed radically within the last couple of years. Being physically present in a classroom isn’t the only learning option anymore — not with the rise of the internet and new technologies, at least. Nowadays, you have access to a quality education whenever and wherever you want, as long as you have access to a computer. We are now entering a new era — the revolution of online education.

It was a new challenge for all the teachers, and the bigger challenge was for the learners also.But for me I am enjoying online teaching because of many reasons:
